Her attorney said she shouldn't. However I'm thinking she could get something paying under the table,part time.She's on medication and is doing fairly well mentallty. I think a part time job would not only,of course help financially, but mentally.Something not too demanding such as caring for pets or cleaning houses.Have any of you been in a simular situation?

so you are saying she should cheat the government, and as the government represents us, cheat all of us? Disability is for those who CANT work, not for those who don't want to. If she can work, then she should not even be applying for Disability. Shame on you for suggesting, shame on her if that is the case.

If she is able to work why is she trying to get disability? Having Bi polar disorder is not a reason to be on disability. With medication and proper management she is capable of working. Idle hands are not good.

She could if she is balanced reasonably well. Go on to the following site: www.everydayhealth.com and learn quite a bit about bipolar disorder.

her lawyer is right.. sometime they have people watching and taking pictures.. do you really think it is worth it.. i mean a little parttime job verse her disability check ..
