Here's a little about my hair if it helps...

Color: brown
Never dyed it, highlights, ect.
I have used a hair straighener and curling iron though!
when u take a strand of my hair it looks really light brown though.

It sounds like split ends.
Go to the hairdressers and get a trim :)

You may have the begining of split ends. When was the last time you had a trim/ hair cut? If that's what is no big deal, just get a trim.

Don't freak. The ends are simply damaged and appear white, the same way a if you take a plastic stick and bent it, the damaged part would appear whitish.
Just go in for a trim and the damaged ends would be removed.

It's probably split ends, but you can get that from overly dried out hair also. Try using some conditioning products on your hair and leave it in for a bit longer. Also, don't overly straighten it.

maybe your hair was damaged by the straightening and curling iron. i think it might be split ends..the best thing to do is go to the nearest parlor and have it trimmed and moisturized...
