If I was a company putting my name on a NASCAR race car, I would want my logo on a Chevy Ford or Dodge not a Toyota.

Why should they shy away...They just grabbed a super team and super drivers...The rewards will come alittle later just like the truck series, Toyota has been dominating there big time. They already have huge sponsors in Nextel cup, Dominos, BK, Red Bull, Cat. It will just be a matter of time before they get their first cup win, it could happen next yr, probably a championship in the next 5 yrs or so...I'm not a toyota fan, but they will definitely be a driving force in nextel cup in yrs to come..

From what ive been reading this week in the Toronto Sun, Red Bull is strongly considering servering ties with Toyota, and their not blaming the drivers their laying the blame solely on Toyotas doorstep.

So yes you can certainly say sponsors may think twice before jumping into bed with Toyota, after this year, their not completly dominating all forms of racing they enter, if you look at F1 theyve been stuck bottom of the barrel for a long time and no matter how much doe they sink into it it doesnt change.

Well is that because it's a foreign car or because the cars haven't been competitive this year. Look at the sponsors that they have UPS, Dominoes, NAPA those are prime spsonsors and next year they will get Home Depot, Federal Express and maybe a few others. If they keep running badly they will lose their sponsors, but they are pumping lots of $ into the sport so I think like the truck series, they will be competetive in a couple of years.

I think no way. Toyota is the #1 car company in the world. Certain companies that are All-American might think twice but Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing wih the drivers he has will have no problem getting sponsors.

Have you paid attention to every other racing circuit that has Toyota in it. Try the truck series. Toyota is dominating and they will in NEXTEL as well. The point of advertising is to get as much air play as you can. The best way to do that in NASCAR is to get your logo on a winner. Toyota will be that next year.

I gotta agree with Kevin. Give Toyota a few years and watch them dominate. Sponsors get good publicity every race anyway.

I wouldn't think it would effect the sponcers much. But if none of the toyotas shape up this year it will.
