I resently bought a pair of SoundDynamics 10s (made in 1982) stereo speakers but I can't find how many watts max. they are. I think I got a pretty good deal on them too but does anyone know what they are actually worth?

I'm sure they put out more than 50w. The speaker box is 25 in. tall and 15 in. wide. The tweeter is 6 In. in dia., the speaker is 13 in. in dia., and each box has a subwoofer in it.

You should try to find out by contacting them

directly (via their website) or a used hi-fi store.

You could also search and/or ask one of the

audio newsgroups like 'rec.audio.opinion' or

'rec.audio.high-end' or 'rec.audio.marketplace'.

Hi. Does it say they are manufactured by Energy Speakers and are affiliated with Audio Products International.? Is there any other information printed on the cabinets ?

At that time they would have probably been no more than 50w per channel, I don't know if I would even feel comfortable hooking them up to a modern receiver.
