i am wanting to remodel my teenage daughter room. its a small room, 81/2 wide 13 feet long. we aren't sure of the colors yet need help with that also......maybe aqua blue and brown but what about a design? she likes to hang out with her friends and also they stay the night so finding somewheres to sleep is an issue sometimes. she likes the mirror on the wall to do hair and make up, etc. like any teenage girl. she wants an area loveseat or something to hang out with her friends. she has a dresser and her tv and a twin bed with 3 drawers in the bottom which needs some minor repairs or maybe cut down to make a new bed!!!!!!!!!!!!...not sure what to do. any ideal plans or a website would help alot. we are racking our browns on what to do...........thanks

1. Daybed that has a pull-out bed underneath.

2. Blow up mattresses for sleep-overs.

3. Dresser and desk combination. Look at places such as Office Depot, WalMart

4. Bean bag chairs:

When my niece was about 14 or 15, she and her best friends painted her room. And then, they all put their hand and feet prints (with paint) all over. Even the ceiling! Some of them, you just had to wonder how they got the print there! They had a blast doing it too. It looked pretty neat when all finished. They did it in many different colors.

Hi Rita!

I have two links where I go to arrange rooms if you know the measurements of everything. It does not take long to measure each thing and set it up then you can save it and go back and change it later, so much fun!! It makes it easy to arrange rooms without having to think much.

They are listed below, good luck and have fun with your new project!!

Hey no more racking if your looking to see actual designs why not try HGTV and go to the shows I like " GET COLOR", DESIGN ON A DIME , and so many but they have shows that show you how to pick color for a small space or how to make a small room seem larger and get the extra space you want for her guest
