yes it can. irreversible damage to the kidneys, liver, kills brain cells. I once knew someone that was a serious alcoholic, drank every day. I found out a few years ago that she had died, basically she drank herself to death. It was very tragic.

I have drank so much I can't remember? Oh yeah what was your question again! Yes, kid it can, just go to the local AA meeting in your area and you can see for yourself the tolls of alcohol on your body both mentally and physically can be quite a sight. I have seen this first hand, and I apologize for the humor, but sometimes when you have a family member who abuses alcohol that is the only way you can deal with things. Consider getting off the stuff, and pouring your affections into something else more worth wild! Best of Luck kid!

Absolutely !! Especially, short term memory but, it can also effect long term memory. There are other, serious physical problems with consuming too much alcohol. I'm sure you are aware that the liver will be damaged, among other organs. Once damaged, the effects are irreversible.

You can talk about any alcohol you like and the answer is YES. In time this will kill you. Not just wipe out your memory. It will destroy your life, and harms those around you, before it kills you.

Drinking causes irreversible brain damage and the brain to shrivel away. Many other organs also suffer: heart, liver, kidneys, you name it. Drinking to much is the hard and long way to kill yourself unless you OD.

yes.....there is a medical term for it....hepatic encephalopathy.....alcohol destroys the livers' ability to filter toxins from the body, kills brain cells that don't rejuvenate and eventually lead to death, this would be an advanced stage if someone had been drinking long term. if you are talking binging i suppose you could have some memory loss as well as this can lead to blackouts......either way.....this person needs help.. good luck.

Of course. You are in effect just pickling your brain, alcohol is a poison. Your body can only detoxify so much and then things start breaking down.
