Is there a way to clear the PC to re-run trial software that the computer "remembers" as expiring. I'd like to re-load the trial and re-run it.

Most trial software leave pointers on your PC even after you have uninstalled it. My only suggestion is to turn off 'System Restore' re-boot then run a registry cleaner. Re-boot and turn on System Restore. This may or may not work depending on the security of the trial software. Also you might try looking in the registry and delete any reference to the trial software. The registry can be opened by Start > Run now type 'regedit' without the quotes. Be very careful because you can easily screw your system up so do a backup of your registry first. But is it worth all this effort when it is unlikely to work? If you like the program so much why don't you just buy it?

Who cares who dares?

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Sorry .... no can do.

When you down load trial software, a code is entered into your registry by the software manufacturer. Unless you know what to look for, they are difficult to find.

Next time you want to download trial software, make a copy of your registry first, then download the software and compare the two.

Or, just save the copy, and providing you haven't added any thing else during the trial period, when the trial expires, delete the registry and revert back to the original.

You can uninstall it (be sure to save your personal files though) and then dig it out of the registry.

To edit the register...
Start --> Run --> regedit

Then do a search for the program. There will probably be more than 1 item, so keep searching until it says there were no entries found.

Yeah, buy it.

Or reformat your PC. Changing the time expiration and trial run deadlines is illegal.
