someone recently bought me a very nice centerpiece bowl from Tiffany & Co. for my first home....problem is, I dunno what the heck to do with it, lol! What table does it go on? How can I best display it? What goes in it, if anything? Thanks.

PS these people are coming over to see the new home soon and I want to have this piece displayed....

Kitchen table, dining table, coffee table, kitchen island.... up to you!

You could use it for fruit, you could leave it empty and let it be it's own piece etc

Pretty free to do what you like with it, can't really go wrong.

I couldn't use the link either.

The bowl is very pretty! Crystal like that would look really good with something colorful inside. I agree with others to put it on a runner/table cloth if available on the dining table or coffee/sofa table. I would put M&Ms in holiday colors in it (fall colors, there are pink bags out for Breast Cancer Research month now, or just a regular bag is fine too!). Another seasonal option would be to buy a small (10-25 count) strand of cordless white lights and place that in there with some leaves. Of course, fruit is a good option as would be small pumpkins/gourds. Are you a sports fan? You could cut some strips of curling ribbon to place in there in the colors of your favorite team and some small items (e.g., little footballs, etc) representing that (I'm an OSU fan, so buckeyes would work great!). A good place to find stuff might be a crafts store. Another idea if you wanted to do a candle would be to buy little marbles/stones and place those around the candle. Don't lock yourself into one idea and you'll think of just the right thing! Just make sure it's something that fits your personality so they don't think the bowl is being displayed simply because of their presence!

Do you have a formal dining room table? I think it would look nice in the center with some floating candles or some smaller pillar candles in sand or small stones. (All of which you can get at either a craft store or a place like Linens N Things.)

Or if you have a small table in a foyer, that would look nice when you come in the house. I'm sure you'll find the perfect spot.

Your web address is not working for the pic, so this is what I would do, depending on the size...

You can always use it as a centerpiece on your kitchen table or coffee table with water and floater candles in it. Maybe even water with a few flowers floating in it, underneath the bowl you could put a mirror!

Or if its small enough, use it as a candy dish, or put some white sand in the bottom and put a votive candle in the middle, looks real elegant.

The choice is yours. Hope you find something you like and run with it! Good luck!

Put it some where you know they will see, but don't make it look like you just pulled it because they were coming over. Put on a table with fresh flowers, or those plastic pumpkins, squash, and corn for the Holiday. Or something that fits the style of your home. Don't stress over it to much!

Your URL isn't working right

I would just put it on a coffee table. Perhaps with a cloth that coordinates with the room under it. You can put nothing or anything at all inside the bowl, really depends on the design both of the bowl and your room.

I would use it as a centrepiece on the dining room table. Put a pretty runner under it. I wouldnt put anything in it, although it is hard to say without seeing it. dont stress too much. It is your bowl, not up to them to judge where it should go. they should just be happy to see it out and that you are using it.

definite something you do to assist with the marriage is robust. The Fish bowl centerpiece could be especially, in spite of the fact that I even have seen the solar kill the fish, warmth from warm days, as properly as vegetation, being transferred into water with to lots chlorine in it (la faucet water). The travelers ended up observing lifeless floating fish interior the direction of the table. you may desire to be careful on the subject of the temperature of the water and that the water is organic.

oooooo how pretty!! Lucky you! I'd say that you could pretty much put that anywhere, but a dining table would be good, and if you are gonna put anything in it I'd go with nice sweets, or some fruit.
