"The word 'al-Taqiyya' literally means: "Concealing or disguising one's beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of imminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury."

In other words, Muslims are taught from their original false prophet mohammad (sbuh) that they can lie about their religion if it will help them further their cause.

After 1400 years of terrorism (muhammad of mecca was the original terrorist) why would they stop now?

Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Qur'an:47:4 "When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam."

Bukhari:V4B52N220 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror.'"

Exactly. They are trying to appease us now. Muhammad said it was a great tactic in war, to lie to your enemy so they will let their guard down. They are trying to get us to let our guard down. Muslims have already been known to use our laws against us. I don't care what anyone else believes. I have no doubt they will slowly erode our laws and replace it with Islamic ones if the threat of "convert or die" doesn't work. The case going on in Dallas right now shows that The Muslim Brotherhood had plans laid out to overthrow the Constitution and put in Sharia Law. Go to http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/091707dnmetbrotherhood.35ce2b6.html (The Dallas Morning News) for that story. Muslims have had decades to denounce violence. There have been thousands of terrorist attacks and nothing said or done. Now all of a sudden they are against it all. I guess they figure we are on to them.

God Bless.

Why does the existence of that word mean that Muslims are taught to lie about their religion to further their cause? I hate to generalize, but the majority of people aren't willing to die for their words and will say something false if it would save their lives. Heck, people are willing to lie about stupid things all the time, just to make them appear cool, in-the-know, like a good person, etc. People say things that aren't the case just to avoid being looked down on. In order to "further their causes", people lie to get better jobs, not pay taxes, ...

Do you feel that Muslims that are now denouncing terrorism were in favor of it prior?

That is all about war. In this century, the Messiah was supposed to come and spread Islam through PEACE...not Jihad. And some Muslims don't understand that...and are terrorizing now, more than ever....that is why...us, the RIGHT Muslims, need to stand and speak up for Islam's true teachings...of peace...our slogan is "Love for All, Hatred for None" (Ahmadiyya Muslim Community)...The Promised Messiah has come!! Wake Up People!!!

This morning I was pleased to read the first posting by a Muslim, in their own words (not scripture) that actually denounced terrorism. This evening you tell me Islam teaches Muslims it's OK to lie to achieve their goals. Now I don't know which lying Muslim to believe. Thanks a lot!

I'm pretty sure I've said this on this forum before somewhere, but you haven't even read into this.
It's all about context. At the time when those verses were revealed to Muhammad (pbuh), There was a war going on. Allah said those things in order to spur the Muslims into defending themselves.

If you are really what you say you are, a civilized community, then you shouldn't believe anything about Muslims unless you actually encounter a Muslim in your life.

Further more, how can you believe anything from a guy who humiliates other peoples' religion?

You are an example of an extremist and a miserable person.

When you get out of bed in the morning, try dumping your paranoia 'cos you will feel far more comfortable as the day progresses.

My guess is that a lot of has to do with the following:

"Muslims should live peacefully in countries such as Britain, where they have the freedom to practise Islam, only until they gain enough power to engage in battle."

No one would let revolutionaries determined to overthrow them exist in their nations IF they knew of their schemes...so the solution? Pretend that's not your aim.

You got it! It is hard to trust a religion based on lies.
Allah admits to deceit and lying is a part of your religion.

Great now it's our fault that Allah teaches Muslims Taqia!
How would you suppose anyone could trust you if your faith is to lie?

Have you ever heard of Muhammad?
