It's pretty easy, it's not really an event that can sellout. Just go to Churchhill Downs on the day of the derby and buy a ticket to the infield at the front gate. It's going to run you somewhere around $40. I recommend you bring a least $75-80 with you too, especially if you plan on gambling.

You go to www.twinspiresclub.com and sign up to be a member of Twin Spires. It has a better chance of you winning tickets to go to the Derby. I wrote a letter asking for tickets to the Derby. They said they will apply me for tickets. If you want to go on Derby day, you need to get general admission. It costs $40 at the gate.

You can write to Churchill Downs and ask.It's good to write after the Derby and before Labor Day.Write every year until they have an opening and you will be put on a waiting list. The seats I got were grandstand bleacher seats and it was lots of fun.It was also very crowded and you really can't see the race when everyone stands up in front of you.They do have monitors.

OK i lived in Kentucky until i was 13 it isn't as easy as this one guy is saying if you want good seats go about 3 months or more before the derby that gate thing he was talking about Will be crowded!!!!!!!!!!!!!and the Derby is something you want good seats at oh yeah and it does sell out tons of people go! email me at leighton.craft@yahoo.com

PS:my mom went and they got there seats a year before
