According to the bible, god destroyed everyone on earth except, Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives. A grand total of 8 people!
Okay, so I want to know, who did Noah send to what is now South America, Australia, North America, Antarctica and NewZealand to collect two of every animal? Who did he send to the bottom of the ocean in the Mariana Trench (7 miles down) and collect sea life there? Who collected the brown bears? Who collected the over 1 million types of plants and trees?
How could a dove have brought back an olive leaf when all trees were underwater for over 150 days and had all died? Why didn't god just snap his fingers and be done with it instead of a flood?
Oh, let me guess, I'm taking the story out of context?

It's just a story. I mean if a god could create all of the animals in a day why didn't he just do it again after the flood that he didn't need to do because he could have just killed everybody without the big flood thing.

Stories people. Just stories.

If somebody says "well god must've had his reasons" I swear I may hurt my eyes rolling them so abruptly.

Yes, you are taking it out of context. You are thinking just of eight people teaming up to do this enourmus task but are forgetting they had an Almighty God helping them.

* God took care of the plants, not Noah. The plants Noah bring into the ark were those required as food for the travel. god did not required Noah to collect trees, flowers, bushes, cactus, etc.
* The dove found a olive leaf because that tree was, at that time, over the water level. How did that olive tree survived, or if that tree was newly created by God after the flood, is not mentioned at the Bible.
* Sea life / aquatic life? They did not required asistance from Noah to survive the flood. If they experienced any problems with salt water mixing with fresh river water God provided the solution for them
* How do South America, Australia, North America, Antarctica and NewZealand's animals reach Noah's ark? God provided all forms of transportation required. I figure crossing the sea siting over the back of the whales, also use the whales again after exiting the ark at Ararat mountains, to reach back their original continents.
* Maybe God used teletransportation before Kirk, Spock, and the rest of the Enterprise crew did at every episode of Star Trek. If Gene Rodenberry thought of it in the 1960's God sure could have say: Why not?

** Why did God did not snap His fingers and destroyed and re-created the world leaving only Noah and his family to remain? Because He decided to do it otherwise, maybe He wanted to use the teletransportation technique.

let me see here -

the unicorns had the job of rounding up all the animals. And they were pretty good at it cause you know, they had those sharp horns and everything. But then they got a little too close to the crockoduck and the crock, well he was hungry, and everyone knows that unicorns are mighty tasty - so no more unicorns. And Noah was mad at the crockoduck, since he ate the unicorn, so he wouldn't let him on the ark.

As for the sea life, the whale that swallowed Jonah opened up his mouth and swallowed all the sea life and then just swam along during the flood. once the flood was over the whale just spit out all the other sea life. (he was practicing for Jonah.)

As for the plants and trees, well they got a healthy dose of water and managed to live on without a problem.

God could have just snapped his fingers, but he thought a flood would be a refreshing change of pace.

Animals "whose breath was in their nostrils" were caused to come to the Ark by God and only by "kinds" which is for example one pair of dog-kind for all the modern species of wolves, coyotes, dogs, etc...not the thousands of species and sub-species we have today....they just had to be inter-fertile to reproduce and they could genetically expand the breed to what we see today. No ocean creatures breath through their nostrils so no need to take them on the ark. Plants and trees were buried in the flood sedimentation process to produce the coal, gas and oil we use today....if there was no flood, we would have a much different world today with little or no energy from fossil fuels....think God knew that? I think his plan was to provide energy for us future generations even though he had to destroy his creation. We don't know what the continents or sea level were like back then but it's probably safe to say the sea level was much lower as much of the flood waters came from "fountains of the deep" which were probably underground water reservoirs that now fill up the oceans, allowing animals to traverse from one continent to another via the continental shelf. After the flood, the Bible states that God lifted up the mountains and sank down the valleys which accounts for the great heights of modern mountains and depths like the Mariana's Trench.

The flood was not world wide. No human could gather two of every flesh from the entire earth. God told Noah to take two of every flesh...did you consider that may also be two of every race as well? Noah and his family found favor with God, as Noah was a noble man in the Lord, but two of other races needed to be take in order to populate again. Most definitely. Something to think about. The only animals that was taken, were the ones that was in that region. It's also common sense, you can't take polar bears and walruses and put them in an ark. Use your brain and common sense, people. I say that nicely. :) And this was a VERY GOOD question.

Sea life didn't need to go into an ark. Also, 8 people who live very long lives, can repopulate the earth, just as 2 populated it originally.

Sorry, but I still can't get over you thinking sea life needs to be saved in an ark when the whole world was covered with water!

Scuba dude, If a creature lives in the Mariana Trench I am pretty sure it as not in danger of being drowned in a flood. You may want to pay closer attention to your mixture and length/depth when you dive. I think you may have exceeded one of both of them one too many times.

the animals lined up by them selves the way God wanted them to. they didn't need any sea animals surprisingly they can survive a flood. some plants and trees probably were spared by God he can do whatever he chooses.the plants and trees that were dead would regrow quickly. he choose to do his means by flood so that we could look at our earth and see that God hates sin and is willing to destroy everything over it. if he just told everything to die then it wouldn't leave no imprint like the grand canyon and pretrified clams on mountains etc. on the earth for us to see

The Lord did it all! Noah didn't gather up the animals from every side of the world? The Lord drew them is always the impression I got. The whole thing was miraculous..........why expect no miracle in the gathering of the animals?

It wasn't an olive leaf, it was an olive BRANCH...and 150 days? oh...I guess so cause of the 40 days of rain and the time it took to "drain" or what not...

And noah didn't send anyone, god sent the animals to him.
