Is America really a godless society? Even though the above named people are evil, is that really the fault of society on the whole? I'm part of society, but i don't feel as though i'm godless. I think that these people are just freaks of nature and i also think that the drive they had stems from a deep seated will to impose their evil on others. This is why they gained so much power, but in the case of George Dubbya Bush, he was just elected through the will of a secret sectular body who run most of the free world. He's really just a dumb f**k

Hitler was a Christian and the Jews wouldn't have been killed if the German's didn't believe that the Jews killed Jesus and deserved to die. Bush was voted by God fearing conservative Christians not a Godless society who wanted rid of him. Mao and Stalin killed people in the name of Communism which although had religion as a pile of rubbish in it that was not all of the story. they believed on a society which was all equal unfortunately it led to bloodshed. I think if looked a t most of the conflicts of the world you would see religion had a part to play.

Does Mahmoud Ahmadinejad prove all Muslim countries are evil? No, and I am a Jew. Examples of evil does not prove evil overall.
I also think Bush is an evangelical Christian. The others were atheists.
All kinds of evil are possible anywhere.

Bush is a religious right wing looney, I think you better rethink that one.

As for the others, they set up personality cults based on themselves so they didn't live in godless societies just in societies that didn't tolerate any other cults besides the state ones. Just like the Spanish Inquisition or England under Henry VIII or the Roman Empire under Theodosius, or France under Cardinal Richelieu etc etc

I am going to concur with some of the previous posters. Hitler and Bush were very religious and I do not think that people would describe their countries as godless.

No, all sorts of evil are possible in any human society. Look at such devout types as Jim Jones and David Koresh. A mind that it prone to psychopathology will use whatever information is available to construct a rationale for vile behavior.

There cannot be good without the existence of evil, every person has a good side and a dark side. The brighter the good side the deeper the dark side gets. There is a constant battle between Good & Evil as there can't be one without the other, just sometimes the balance is disturbed sometimes.

this is a misconception. Mao and Stalin, though communist, ran their states with attitudes of hyper religiosity. they demanded their pictures, statues, and images be displayed everywhere - songs and chants were ritualistically performed in their name - their fascist laws were demanded to be obeyed completely, even when they contradicted - and when they felt like slaughtering their people they just went ahead and did. if this isn't how god acts in religious texts, if this isn't what the authors of those texts perceived our god to be, then i dont know what is.

i dont know why you lumped Bush in with those two. as much as i dislike the man, putting him in league with those a**holes gives him way too much credit. he's an entirely different a**hole.

dont forget about Hitler either. he was a devout catholic and he functioned under full support from the Vatican.

Surely you have shot yourself in the foot?

If you believe in God then it must be Gods society!!

Look at the prisons Christians are way over represented in those who have committed murder rape and other sexual offences.

All your question does is underline how weak your faith and belief is. If it was strong you would not want to go on your ego tripping, sneering crusade of disinformation.

Please reflect that God is a loving, inclusive and forgiving God and therefore if you ask forgiveness for this sin and help to swallow your arrogance and false pride there Will be hope for your soul yet!!!

i don't know about the rest but bush should not be listed among the godless. He clearly made most of his decisions because of his christian faith and in my opinion has increased the influence of religion on politics so godless and bush do not belong in the same sentence
