I believe it is 18. You have to be atleast 18 to sign a lease for an apartment.

If you leave and you are under age they can report it to the police and have you picked up and returned to them. Over 18 and you are good to go. Unless their is abuse or neglect which will mean you will be put into a foster home or other instituion until you are 18.
Why would you want to leave? That is a the big question. Only you can answer that one.

You can move when you are 18 or so
but it may be hard to get you own apt.
if you have a place to stay, then 18 is
fine. They may be glad to see you go.

Legal age is 18...... then you can do as you please.......but remember, that it wont be as easy as you have it now at home.............
