Join the club. Life is hard and it often sucks, but what's the alternative? Death, well that sucks even more...it's not like sleep, it's like nothing, absolutely nothing. No music, no beauty, no entertainment. Call a suicide hotline (http://www.suicidehotlines.com/).

I felt the same way when I was 18 too. Except when I was 18, I'd get drunk all of the time. I was accused of causing a motor vehicle accident, and was sued for over half a million dollars. I worried about it every day for 7 years of my life. My God, was I in agony!!! I remember the extreme emotional pain that I felt during those years.
I would strongly suggest joining a church. Now I'm not saying to simply "get religious," but it is a really good way to meet new friends who are sincere about their love for one another. You could help the people in your community who have depression like yourself and who are in the same position. But it takes more than mere plans to get better. So this Sunday, make it your goal to go to church - - any church - - and introduce yourself to five new people whom you've never met. I guarantee you that by doing so you will feel at least a little bit better. There are people who have been through what you are going through right now, and they can help you get out of the state that you are in. The reason why I suggest a church atmosphere is that generally speaking the people have and follow a code of established morals, and many churches, although not all of them but most, emphasize compassion.
Don't give up hope. Tomorrow's going to be a better day than today!!!

You must be scared to be so young and feel so desperate. Please consider getting some help. It sounds like you are suffering from Major Depressive Disorder, which can be treated with medications and therapy. Exercise (as the other responder mentioned) is VERY beneficial. It affects the level of neurotransmitters in your brain and causes neurogenesis in the hippocampus, which have an influence on your moods and emotions. I know it is difficult to do much, especially exercise, but it truley does make a difference. Start slow.
Please find someone to talk with about your feelings. Make an appointment with a family doctor, or psychiatrist and then find a good counselor to get you through this phase of the illness. It will be tough, but you can do it!
Don't give up.

I feel your pain man. I have had a bad year myself but wont pretend to say I know your problems but was close to suicide myself not long ago. You need to go and talk to someone, anyone. You can email me if you want. I can give you a million reasons to fight for life but you will just look at them and think them cliche at this point because you are depressed. In the end though man, you have a long life ahead of you and no one can promise everything will be great but without the sorrow we cannot know how great the joys are. Ups and downs are part of life, you have to forge through the bad to get to the good.

Wow. Okay just look at all the good things in life and take out the bad. Try talking to more people and expressing your feelings. I know it sometimes may be hard but it will make you feel better. Don't think negative be positive and confident. Don't do something you might regret.
O=hugs
I send you all my O's
And the best and most of luck!!!!!!

You should talk to a doctor immediately. Go to your local ER if necessary. They have resources for help and can keep you safe until you get it.
You may have depression or another illness, depression can be a symptom of other medical illnesses such as hypothyroidism, just to name one. I can't make a diagnosis over the computer, but I do know that you need to see a doctor ASAP to get a thorough exam.
I hope this helps.

When I feel sad or unhappy I usually take a trip to Vegas. When I'm there I get loaded, play nickle slots at the Golden Nugget until I am so drunk they kick me out of the casino. Once I get back to my room usually 4 to 6 hours after getting kicked out I call for room service and have the guy score me some Viagra. After that I call a few hookers and ask them to bring their own "candy". I have my way with them and kick them out. I usually.... You know what, just watch Leaving Las Vegas or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Follow that example.

I think some of you are missing the point. Find someone to talk to that is such an easy thing to say. I personally just cant seem to do that and as each year passes it gets worse. I hope you are able to find a way to become happy again.

You should go to church. I'm telling you. Just give GOD a try. Get to know him better. You are feeling like this because you need someone higher above anyone to guide you properly in life. Once you get more connected and start praying and get baptized your stress will slowly go away, all your burdens will wash away slowly. Lord always keeps his promise. I sometimes feel like this but I've always over came it. I should never let people, human beings like me! Tell me who I am and make me into what they want me to be. God created me for a reason, he made everyone different and unique. Be blessed that God gave you this life to expirience, his wonderful created worlds every day and you get to celebrate your life everyday. Don't hang yourself you will regret it even though you wouldn't know. No one is judging you on this internet and if we didn't care about you we wouldn't be sitting here worried about you. Don't hate life because you never know, something amazing might happen to you. We're teens and we go through thoughts like this cuz being a teen is the hardest stage of life but you grow up and learn. Do you know how much the world has to offer ahead of you. You said no one talks to you...but hey ALOT of people are typing to you. You want to be here thats why you didn't go along with your belt and beam you want to be here. Just be happy that you aren't like the people who make you hate your life. They will get whats coming to them ok. Keep your head up and smile, we want you to be here just like the rest of us.!!
