It won't make your biceps bigger. Push ups is a plyometric exercise that is intended exercise your chest or triceps depending on the position. Only weight training can truly make your muscles bigger. If I were you, I'd start doing barbell curls. It's the best bicep exercise there is.

if you want bigger biceps, pushups won't do it. Curls are the proper excercise for that. Start with a low weight, 5lbs or so. each day do 10 curls with each arm, 3 times. total of 30. do that for a week. Then for week two, do 15 curls each arm and do that for 4 reps. on week 3, add 5 pounds of weight and drop back to 10 curls each arm for 3 reps. week 4 add more reps. continue this program as long as you want. At 4 weeks you will see a difference. At 6 weeks, others will see the difference.
Good luck

Quite honestly, push-ups are not your answer to this. They will, however, help to build muscle in your chest , back and shoulders with the biceps being worked as a secondary muscle. Do the push-ups (to fatigue, every other day) and invest in some dumbells to do basic bicep curls. I guarantee, you will see improvement. But hey! Don't forget those legs! Maybe while your at it, go to the bookstore and get an exercise instruction manual or hire a personal trainer. If you're going to build one muscle, you should build them all. It will look WAY better! Hope this helps! (Personal trainer/bodybuilder in Illinois)
