I wanted to be a Marine, my recruiter denied me because I have a little record. I still want to be a Marine. I committed the offenses while I was a minor. Could I just wait a little while and try again? What about any other forces? I know the army would take me but Its not really what I want. Any Advice? what if i Joined the army could I enlist as a Marine afterwards?

Once you turn 18, you should be able to join. The offenses were from when you were a minor. If you join any other branch of the military, you can change to become a Marine after a certain amount of time, but you will have to go to Marine Corps boot camp.

The army is taking felons right now, so I'm sure they'd take a petty criminal like you. I doubt the marines will ever take you.

if you wait two years after the offense they are sealed because they are from your juvenile years.
