I do pay them all off but my dad says that to many will affect my insurance which I think its not true. I have gotten like 20 but they have all been payed off. Before due date.

Yes, your insurance CAN go up. It's called "moral hazard" and it is a ratable characteristic of a driver.

Moral hazard- A risk to an insurance company resulting from uncertainty about the honesty of the insured.

Non-moving violations are ultimately the responsibility of the registered owner of the vehicle. Failure to pay tickets shows you are negligent to your legal responsibility, and an insurer CAN charge more premium for that!

No. Parking tickets have nothing to do with your driving, or anything related to car insurance. Just like photo radar, they cannot tell who was driving the car at the time.

Not usually. Parking tickets are normally considered civil fines, not moving violations. I don't believe they go on your driving record.

No. They're not a moving viloation. However, if you have too many unpaid tickets, your car might get booted.
