A little of each of the three. Show the guy that you can be humorous, intelligent, and serious. If you balance those out evenly he'll then know that she's talking to someone he can have a good conversation with.

Am I meeting a girl for the first time, have I known her for a while, etc.? If I'm meeting her for the first time, I'll have a serious conversation about where she lives, whether she works, goes to school, ask her about her family, etc.
