where am from Jamaica thats how we talk so am use to writing and spelling words short handed if i was doing a essay or so then i would be putting in the language,words and the correct spelling. example of our talk:"weh yuh deh pan" means wats up/whats going on and "catch yuh ina d light" i will see you in the morning when it lights up(sunshine) our language is called CEROLE OR PATWA

I agree with tenafield, because this is not a Jamaican Board, and it has an international audience. You have to speak the language of the mass.

if yu wan chat some patwa, come dung a di Jamaica section, mek wi labrish.

PS: tenafield patois is the English spelling, patwa a di yardman spelling. mek mi tek wey miself now seen. DWL

If you are trying to communicate with others, it is courteous to use language they understand. If you are writing in English then you should use English. Use your own language at home but don't expect people internationally to understand you. I believe the words you want are Creole and Patois.
