9:00 sharp. My son is 9 and goes to bed at 9, but doesn't really go to 'sleep' until about 9:30 or 10. But he's in bed by 9. No toys allowed in bed. It seems to keep him awake playing. Just a Scooby Doo pillow.

Children that age need at least 12-14 hours of good sleep to function and develop properly. Depending on the time they wake up in the mornings determines a bed time "time frame." Ex: Wake up at 8am for school, go to bed by 8pm. If the child takes a nap in the afternoon, it can also effect bed time (i.e. increase from 12 hours to 14 hours, and such.) Best of luck. And remember that you can search the internet for child development for adequate sleep. :)

9pm.

Depends how early they are getting up in the morning. Children of that age, if i remember correctly, need about 10 hrs sleep.

Take note of how easily they are to wake in the morning... some people naturally need more sleep then others, if thats the case 8.30 would be alright.

Its important to remember though to have a 'wind down' hour before bed, so once they are in bed sleep comes easily. No bright lots or lots of loud sound. If you have a dimmer switch use it, if not just have lamps.

They should be getting atleast 8 hours of sleep at night, so calculate that with when they have to get up in the morning. I would say 8-9 is reasonable though.

8- 830. When does her school start? She needs abt 9-10 hrs of sleep at that age, plus an hour or so to get ready in the AM.

Probably 8 or 9 but after 9, your child might not get enough sleep
