So I want to lose a few pounds and have decided to start walking at least 30 minutes every day. But I was wondering if biking for 30 minutes would be a better workout. The terrain is the city (flat, no hills or substantial inclines). And my bike is the beach cruiser style (if that makes any difference, I wouldn't know). Thanks

walking and especially running make you lose more weight than bike riding. on a bike you dont support your own weight. riding a bike will make you gain more muscle though.
