I am just interested in hearing what you have to say about it. Is there anyone out there who doesn't really complain about paying taxes because they see the point in it?

Considering the alternative -- arnachy or having to shell out cash every time I need to call the police, for example -- I'm quite OK with taxes.

Good Question! I, for one, don't mind paying my taxes. I also don't mind going to the dentist!. These are some of life's unavoidable issues, so why let them bother you? Obviously, there's an EXTREME amount of waste in our government, and that's my (and other taxpayers) money that is being squandered. Our only recourse, it seems, is to vote for the most qualified candidates in any election that are most likely to be the best for the system (that's why I support Ron Paul for President -- he is most keenly aware of how our present government is way out-of-sync with our Constitution).
By the way, the more taxes you pay the more income you have, so if you have to pay a lot of taxes it means you have a lot of income. All-in-all, we still live in a pretty-darn-good country.. don't fret about the things you can't readily change, but have a voice that can be heard when needed. Have a great day, go with the flow, and ENJOY LIFE!

I am OK paying reasonable taxes. Look we need taxes to meet the basic needs of society such as infrastructure, public education, emergency health, etc. The problem with our tax system is that it is quite complicated and there are too many loopholes for big corporations and extremely wealthy people. If more effort was directed toward creating a tax system that was understandable then I don't think most people would get angry as they do. There always will be those that don't want any taxes at all.

does no longer strategies a lot then however the government does no longer understand that individuals easily paintings for the money they confiscate from us. So if taxes bypass up they only spend extra and then the down factor of the better taxes kick in. human beings have much less to spend and so then companies do much less employer then the companies hire fewer and much less human beings. Unemployment is going up tax collections bypass down and the federal government is going ever deeper into debt meanwhile promising the loads extra pie interior the sky.

You get what you pay for. Not only do your taxes go to services provided but they also go a long way to minimizing hidden costs. E.g., if there weren't any entitlement programs, how long do you think your property would be safe from someone who was willing to kill/steal to feed and shelter their family?

If no one paid taxes how would anything at local, county, state and/or federal level get done? Where would the money come from? Your taxes are used and accounted for believe me, they are tight with spending money that is why it takes so long to get things done. Will you service the roads and highway, will you maintain traffic signals, will you provide transportation for school children, will you buy their books, pay their teachers, provide security, etc, etc, etc......

Taxes are necessary to provide services to all citizens (Fire, police, emergency services, roads, schools, etc.) However I think everyone should be taxed at the same rate or have a national sales tax.

I'm not thrilled to pay taxes, but they are necessary to have a functioning government, so I'd have to say I'm okay with paying them.
