There are a couple of people that I "have" to invite, and I'm not really looking forward to them being there...who knows what they're capable of!

Just wanted to hear your horror stories...

A girl I worked with!
She got all F up and was telling stories at the reception table about how her and I used to go out when we were single. I didn't mind that...BUT, she was talking about things that were nobodies business....and saying this in front of my relatives! She not only was coking it up in the bathroom...but she wore a dress that looked like fur! She was stumbling, her mouth was foaming and she had her tongue down her boyfriends throat while people were eating.
Why I invited her...I don't know!
And her gift? She emptied her purse and searched for money....she put change in a wedding card!
Honestly...I still find it hard to believe.

My older brother - six years older than me. He left his wife the weekend before my wedding, just left her a note and took off with his honey. My mom and sisters tried to keep it from me, but I found out the Wednesday before my wedding.
So he shows up at the wedding - but told his wife and son they couldn't go. Now my sister in law and I were close, and she helped host the bridal shower, and not having my nephew there was awful.
My dad had passed away, so this brother knew he would be doing the dance with me - and when the time came, he was nowhere to be found, and I was left standing there while someone dragged him away from the bar. He was soused. He spend a good part of the wedding running after my husband's younger sister, who came from Europe for the wedding. He was basically a pig. I barely speak to him even now.

One of the groomsmen! My husband decided he HAD to ask his former BIL, whom he was friends with still, even after the divorce. This guy is a Class A chauvinistic PIG, and would be worse around me because he knew it bothered me. Not only was he practically drooling over one of the bridesmaids who the rest of us had to try to keep him away from because she would have probably kicked him somewhere he wouldn't have liked (though I would have loved to have witnessed it, just not at my wedding). In church while taking pictures he was standing behind me and announced that he could see down the front of my dress (I'm only 5'1 and he's over 6'), then I found out later that while he 'disappeared' during pictures that he wasn't needed in he was out in the parking lot getting high! Keep in mind he was 50 yrs old!!!!!

So yeah, he gets my vote!

I didn't have a wedding. We had a whole bunch of our friends go with us to the courthouse (it was literally the most fun wedding that anyone of us had ever been to) But I regret inviting one of the people who introduced us. She has caused nothing but pain and drama in my life and I HATE HER!!!! I wish she wouldn't have been there...even if she did take all of the pictures.

Mine was in my in-laws house, so my brother-in-law was there. He was best man too, my husband now says he wishes he hadn't asked him, but he thought, at the time, since he was his brother, he was obligated to ask him to be best man. BIL is a mutant nutcase. It wasn't like he was specifically invited, but he lived in the house. That was a double whammy, wishing he wasn't there, and being best man to boot.

He had some kind of fear of people, so he hid in the laundry room after the ceremony. He wouldn't wear a tie, and left his shirt open, showing his disgusting chest hair.

My MOH.

She hit on both my BIL's, my father, one of my husbands cousins, a groomsman, stole from our mini-bar, invited 2 kids up to our room the night before who also stole from our mini-bar, instead of leaving after the wedding decided that she needed to sit down and smoke for a while and chain smoked 4 cigarettes and then got annoyed because I finally said "You're lighting another one?", oh and she used her speech time not to congratulate us, but to talk about how she couldnt believe that I was married and she didnt even have 1 prospective boyfriend.

I really chose poorly.

My so called "friend". She was a good friend for 10 years, but through my engagement and wedding she was a nightmare, then I realized, she wasn't that great of a friend ever. She was horrible through the whole thing and even on the wedding day. I hate her. Shall I tell you how I really feel? lol

UGH, My fiance's brother and SIL. they look the focal factor, even on my wedding ceremony day and that they consistently have a team of drama occurring. particularly do no longer desire to ask them in any respect. while my fiance's parents have been given their wedding ceremony vows renewed, he bitched the entire time, speaking approximately he grew to become into warm and he did no longer desire to be there. In his protection, my fiance's mom, and his spouse bugged him till he went. We instructed them to no longer do this if it particularly is the case while our wedding ceremony gets right here. And his brother's spouse....the 1st element she stated as quickly as we instructed her we've been getting married, the area and the date....i would be huge and that i ought to have no longer something to positioned on! UM? No congrats? i be attentive to she is pregnant notwithstanding it particularly is in contrast to she has to come back, and it particularly is in contrast to I sat down with a calendar and intentionally planned my wedding ceremony date to disenchanted her.

Had a co-worker basically invite herself, as in, "WHEN will I be getting my invitation?" This is a woman my husband does not like at all!!! We sent her an invitation and he was just going to play nice, and then she had the nerve not to show up.

Remember it's your wedding and you are under no obligation to invite anyone! If you don't want to invite certain people then don't!!
