If I have read the bible and conversed with other christians and still don't believe that Jesus Christ was the son of god where do I go from here?

You don't need to believe in that because it's not true...

Jesus, peace be upon him, is one of the prophets of God who sent him to enlighten the paths of people... He's a man, like all prophets from Adam, to Noah, to Solomon, to Abraham, to Moses to Jesus and ending by Muhammad... peace be upon all of them...

This is the logic and the common sense, how and why would God, the creator of all, take a son?! Right?

If you have conversed with other Christians, I'm sure some may have given you slightly different answers. No doubt that is confusing because I'm sure when you looked at their life or asked them some may have said some interesting things that may have not been clear. If you don't go with what they say, the Bible is clear that Jesus is the Son of God. In John, chapters 8 and 10, the people try stoning Jesus for that very reason. If you do research and focus on whether or not Jesus rose from the dead, you may find an interesting discovery that there are only two possible conclusions: either this is the greatest hoax in human history that has resulted in the greatest number of deaths and martyrs in all the history of the world, or it is the truth. If it is the truth, then what should you do? The answer is simple. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind, and strength and repent from your sins, placing your faith in Jesus Christ. If you read the Bible and after researching Christianity, if you still don't believe, there isn't anywhere else for you to go, as the Bible is the Word of God filled with the Truth given to us by the Author of Life Himself. To go and "search" elsewhere will take you to a place where the truth is nothing but a lie. Essentially, the only other place for you to go is the same place where everyone else is going; all who refuse or deny the gospel of the Savior, to eternal torment, not because God is cruel, but because of your sin. So...if you are searching for God, I strongly urge you to do some more research, or even email me and I'll give you some more details on some things, and even continue to seek out Christians who seem loving enough to talk with you. Thanks for asking the question and I hope this answers your question.

merely chucking scripture around won't be the suitable street at this factor, particularly in the event that they do no longer sense this is the inspired observe of God. If Christ isn't the Son of God, then, precisely, who * is * He? exchange into He in basic terms a cool instructor? if so, does your chum have self belief that Christ no longer in basic terms * suggested * He exchange into the Son of God, yet claimed that He exchange into the "suitable sacrifice", gratifying what the Jewish rituals can in basic terms do on a short-term foundation? possibly something else to point out. Does this man or woman sense they have a choose for the objective Christ served? a fabulous a lot of human beings see no choose for Christ because of the fact they do no longer sense they're that undesirable. See in case you will get them to allow you already know the place they fall on the "adequate" scale. Then ask them how is one man or woman greater effective than yet another.

Ask yourself the simple question, "Do I believe that the Bible is the Word of God". You'll find that if the answer is yes, then your answer to whether or not Jesus is God's son is within the bible. If your answer is no, you should not care either way.

At least you have tried and many do not do this, you need to examine yourself and see what is holding you back, is it stubborn pride, an unwillingness to bend your will to the revealed truth? perhaps you have not come to need Christ as much as you need yourself to depend upon, maybe you really do not know why you need the free gift of salvation in Christ.
One thing is sure God will still be God wether or not you believe in His Son, and the Son will continue to call you by name so that you may turn your heart to Him and be free.

2000 Years ago when Jesus started his revolution, he spoke about GOd as his father in an imaged fashion.
Basic minds made out of him the "physical heir of a physical entity that has been given the name of GOD".
Thats what Jesus meant by calling himslef son of God.
God meant for him : wisdom, goodness, tolerance, love...etc... a collection of GOOD attributes honoring the human kind.
Son of God is not something physical because God (do we know if he really exist ???) is not meant to be a physical entity but Moral values.
Basically, Jesus is meant to represent the descendance (son)of good values and attributes of the human kind (God).
Do not expect the clergy to tell you this... You will be too smart and you would leave their orbit.

Read what the name of Jesus means, God's Salvation to mankind.

Any simple research and understanding can realize this, doesn't take a degree in fact a degree is a hinderance to God's wisdom.

So to believe God brought forth salvation for all men is really quite easy to understand but Satan has had his hand in convincing christians to believe Jesus is only a personal savior, a meek man with hat in hand looking for people to accept Him.

Jesus said, "You do not choose me, I choose you."

He also said "When I am lifted up from this earth, I will draw all men to myself."

We are told God shows no favoritism.

We are also told that it is not by our faith or works that we are saved, but by His faith and His works.

Believe that God is the Savior of all men, and especially those who believe, and you'll start seeing the love God has always had for every human.

Satan will lose in the end, even those who choose not to believe in salvation for all mankind and those who choose not to love their neighbor as themselves, will one day also be raised from death and Hades, and then God will throw death and Hades and Satan and Religion out into the lake of fire.

Satan lost at the cross. All religion does is bring more and more people into deception of believing they have to do something to be justified. Sad, but they too will see the promised reconciliation.

You can only yearn to see, and only if it's genuine. Jesus told Peter, when Peter answered Jesus correctly that He was the Son of God, "flesh and blood has not revealed this to you (no human) but my heavenly Father has revealed this to you"
It's a gift to be able to see and realize.

You go where the paradox is, directly. I find it hard to believe in God, find it hard to believe there IS no God. Comfort is, ironically, found in the middle, for myself. Thus, the secret hidden option number 3

You can go wherever you want to. But just becuase you don't believe it doesn't mean its not true. I would encourage you to not only read the bibl and talk to Christians, but pray to God, allow him to take a step into your life, and show you His power. I guarantee you he'll show you.
