I was never raised to believe in Heaven and I was extremely disappointed in reality as an atheist. So I think your theory is false. I am much happier with reality since I've become Christian.

Who is dissapointed, if I wasn't a Christian and I didn't believe in a savior who loved me and died so that I could be with him for eternity I would then be dissapointed. Because then I would have no hope when the storms of life arose, no joy in troubled times, no rest when I am weiry. Were do you get those thing when you have nothing to look forward. When everyone turns their back on you, who do you run to? I am loved my the ulmighty, no matter where I go, or what I do, or what storms come my way, nothing can seperate me from him!!!! Who is dissappointed, not me!!!!
It is not just about going to heaven to avoid hell, but it is about a hope on earth, it is like a constent hug when life is upside down, it is the knowledge that someone loved you enough to give their live. It is peace in world filled with war. I have peace that the man I know wins the war!!!!

I was raised to believe in God, but in a religion called "spiritualism" created by a man with nick name "Allan Kardec" and when I was 37 years old I was touched by Jesus. I was "reborn" and I am glad to say that I am a very different person from what I was 3 years ago. By reading the Bible and by changing my life according to The Word of God I've been changing not only my way of thinking but my way of being...
As I grew up in this other "lie created by the devil" I can tell you that the other place except heaven is "hell" which was "created by God for satan and his angels" and not for the human being, but some people reject God in many ways...
The only way to reach God is through Jesus. He gave His Blood to save humanity. Those who confess Jesus will go to heaven. God doesn't lie!!! His Words are forever!

Many of us weren't raised to believe in heaven. When we had the revelation of the reality of the Living God and the Lord Jesus, heaven was part of that.

"For instance, there's this story, about a place you can go after you die that is 87% better than Heaven, but not many people know about it."
Avast! Please post a source to support your statement. Otherwise the question is meaningless.
Happy TLAP Day!

reality moulds a person in preparation for heaven. The moment you accept Jesus as your saviour, you are set and on your way to heaven. That's REALITY!
