I agree with "wildrose" its satire.
He has used the song to highlight how racist others are, if the crowd had booed him off stage that would have been good, but they joined in with the song which as he has highlighted is awfull.

He did it to expose how easily some people go along with hideous ideas as a group. As such, it was quite an important act.

Wrong? I don't know if it's wrong per se, but it definitely is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. See, even a guy who is Jewish can be a jerk about his own people! Most Jews do not think that guy is funny.
