Hi! I want to donate blood, but my schedule is pretty tight.. I can't travel too far.. How do I find if there's a center near me?
Any suggestions??

Depending on where you live, call the Red Cross or ask your doctor. My doctor was able to give me the schedule for the mobile blood donation bus. Also, someone at my office organized a blood donation day at work, so if you're busy with work and stuff maybe you could get them to come to the building.
Also, double check with your dr if you think you may not be allowed to donate blood. If you're on certain medications (including birth control), they won't let you donate. I can't donate because of certain meds that I take.

A lot of cities have blood banks that have mobile units. You should consider contacting them and setting up a blood drive at your work or school. Not only will you be able to donate, but others in your situation might step up and do some good as well. Try googling blood banks in your city.

Phone book or online, they make appointments mostly anyway, they will find away to fit you in believe me.
