Sometimes there are two really good answers and I have a hard time choosing best answer. So I might look at their profiles to see who has opinions more like me. And even if there is only one good answer, I always look at that persons profile out of curiosity, just to see how they've asked and answered other questions before I give them best answer. So does anybody else do that besides me???

Honestly, I have looked at the profiles to help me make the desicion. And I still have a hard time. I admit it, I'm a wimp. If I have a hard time choosing, I ask my wife to read them with me and then we discuss them.

Sometimes if there's a couple of answers I really like and it's a tough decision. If it's a tie, I'll usually pick the one with the least amount of best answers. Sometimes I'll check out peoples' profiles just for fun.

No, I decide best answer on the basis of just that answer. But sometimes if it's a very good one I check out their profile after I have made my choice in order to see if I want to add them to my contacts.

I don't understand your reason for looking if there's only one good answer.

No, I choose the best answer and I seldom look at the profiles.
But sometimes I prefer not to answer to some questions some people make, because I know they don't wanna know my opinion or share points os view but they wanna call people's attention by being aggressive and sometimes very unpolite.

No I don't. I feel that the selection of best answer should be based on the actual answer itself, and nothing else. I know it's hard to choose but I usually just try hard to figure out which one *is* just a little better.

No, I never judge them by reading their profile. If it's a good answer I just go for it and give them the ten points since they deserve it. I never think twice, especially if it's an answer that really moves me.

No I just judged based on the answer. If I look at someone's profile it's usually because they're funny or interesting.

Some probably do. Here in R & S there are groups. Inside of these groups ALL best answers go to group members.

Otherwise, all best answers go to the answer that agrees with the asker's beliefs.

I rarely look at a person's profile. Does that mean I'm a bad Y!Answerer? Yikes!

I haven't asked a question yet but when I used to I didn't bother looking. When a persons got the best answer their personalities and opinions on other matters shouldn't matter or alter your decision in anyway....
