"A fat white guy...with a tape recorder" or an "ignorant young fool on a computer"....either way...Simpson only has himself to blame!

I have a question for those who believe this tape recording proves all allegations against OJ. Why do the guys on the tape refuse to verify the tape hasn't been altered? Why was the guy that made the tape the guy that called OJ in the first place to tell him where the stolen goods were, in effect luring him to the crime scene he had already set up with a hidden tape recorder? I don't believe the cops set him up, but I do believe he was set up. And as far as the cops and the prosecutors go, I have a question. Why was OJ held without bail to start with, when he had no gun, when one of the other guys with him was immediately released on his own recognizance?

It turns out there are more tapes. The "phantom taper" started taping his first conversations where he was setting up the meetings. One of the tapes made after the "robbery" has the guys talking about how much money he will make off the tapes!

Well, there are questions about the tape having been edited, but who the hell is Mark Furman to be on TV (Fox of course)commenting on this or any other trial, when he's probably the whole reason why OJ was acquitted in the first place! He should have planted a glove that might fit! He didn't even need to do that, they probably had enough without it, but lost all credibility when it didn't fit.

I don't see what the facination with this Las Vegas deal is, but the media is going to make it a bigger deal than the first trial if they have their way. Mark Furman being one of their expert commentators is absolutely a joke! Fox TV "Fair and Balanced" my ***!

A person has a tape recorder and your conspiracy laden imagination stretches that to him making OJ and his comrades go take a bunch of sports stuff by force.

Did you really look into this story?

OJ set up the meeting because he heard there was a bunch of his personal items that were going to be auctioned off and he wanted first look to see if there might be anything there that had been stolen from him over the years. The persons in possession of these and the organizers of the auction agreed. The problems started when OJ and company stormed in cursing and making accusations and then one of OJ's guys pulled out a gun and it went to hell from there.

Be informed before you spew what you don't know.

Right...... OJ was forced to go and commit at last count 8 or 9 felonies by a convicted felon with a recorder. Sorry but the Juice is going to be found guilty this time and do a long stretch in prison.

i am white, i think OJ proly got away with that thing, with the ppl, in that place a long time ago....

but, its funny how all these "law abiding, good americans" wanna convict him NOW for what he may or may not have done 12 yrs ago.

if ur so law abiding, he deserves a fair day in court where all the evidence is presented and a verdict is reached by impartial jurors.
if hes guilty, then good. if hes not guilty, then good.

if ya feel differently, then ya have no respect for our whole system of justice

and yes, to me these new charges seem rather fishy

Are you kidding? You have your facts wrong. None of the people there were police, most of them have records anyway lol. The guys that were stupid enough to Help OJ are all gonna roll on him in the end, and FINALLY OJ will be in jail.

Its sucks being the most hated "aquitted" man in the US. What goes around comes around.

I do think that OJ got away with murder 13 years ago, so I am not disappointed to hear of his present legal problems.

With respect to being set up, I agree that it looks to me like someone managed to get OJ worked up about the sale of memorabilia and things that OJ believes were stolen from him.

From my understanding of the incident, that person was not a police officer, but a memorabilia collector himself.

Why this person would call OJ, tell him about the sale of the memorabilia, and get him upset about the possibility that some of his property that OJ believes was stolen from him might be sold at that sale is anybody's guess.

It has occurred to me that the publicity surrounding this could increase interest in the sale of OJ memborabilia and might result in higher prices for the promoters.

It also appears to me that OJ is not all that bright and is very excitable, so it would be fairly easy for someone to get OJ upset enough to go out to Las Vegas and get involved in this.

My suspicion is that it was one of the memorailia collectors who got OJ upset to get him out to that sale to get publicity for the sale of the OJ memorabilia.

It appears to me that was the set up.

A lot of people use tape recorders when conducting business...especially if there a lot of money involved. Since OJ set up the meeting pretending he wanted to buy the stuff he planned to steal, I would say that your theory bites it.

Please get your facts straight before commenting here. No one there was a ventriliquist, "throwing" OJ's voice. Also is thought that OJ paid the guy with the tape recording.
