The neighbor saw everything. She said a burgundy/maroon new model Dodge 1 1/2 cab truck stopped along side of the street and that this guy probably around early 20s got off the passenger side and walked toward the front door. She thought he was going to knock but to her surprise he grabbed the parrots cage (2pc mexican medium size white round cage with stand) and started to run with it. She screamed at him Heeeyyyyyyy!!! He looked at her and threw the cage in the truck bed and left really fast. She managed to get half of the Texas License plate number 56N ??? . The driver man around in his 50s he looks mex. but sounds Indian. I would really appreciate if you help me look out for that description of the truck and the plates. If you see it please write down the other half of the plate. Police report has been made and police investigation is on. If you see the parrot he is wearing a silver bracelet with a serial # on R foot. Anything will help a lot in recovering our baby. Any info helps!

I'll copy your info and cross post it on all the bird boards I'm on.

Good luck.

OH...you don't happen to have the band number written down anywhere do you?

Oh No! I'm not in Texas, but I'll notify my mother! She lives in Houston, and she'll tell almost everybody she meets...she's a real gossip.
I'll pray that you'll get your parrot back, okay? I know what it's like to have one of your babies stolen...even though I have a dozen fuzzy and feathery babies left...

So very sorry to hear about your babies being stolen like that and in broad day light.
Hope you can get them back and they are well

Best of luck to you. Start looking in the papers for your bird. If there is a flea market in the general area, I would start haunting it as well.
