Not really thorough or informative.

1. She sounded ridiculous trying to claim that she never thought about whether the Earth was "round" or "flat." The bottom line is, the Earth is neither "round" or "flat." It's an oblate spheroid. Whoopi Goldberg appears to be implying that the Bible says the Earth is flat. It doesn't.

2. The other lady says at one point words to the effect of, "It says in Genesis that God said to His Son, let's create a world." It says no such thing, for crying out loud.

Bottom line is it was a very superficial conversation among a group of people who really are not clear thinkers at all.

WOW I am surprised that there are still a small number of people out there that think and assume the world is flat. Hopefully they remain under the rock that they live in so that they do not contaminate the rest of society with they silly illogical ideas based on nothing more that being very close-minded.

OMFG it's a bunch of stupid tarts having a silly discussion. Who would use anything from The View for a serious case for argument. They should be talking about which shoes are in style not about religion vs. science. It as a contest to see which is the dumbest chick, right?

Another one of many reasons why The View should be banned from TV. A vast number of Americans are stupid yes, but this is ridiculous.

Whenever Oprah and Babra Walters are on a panel discussion, I know that the topic can't be all that deep or new. It would be nice if they at least just stuck to one topic though.

Well, she claims to believe the Bible and the Bible says in the book of Job that the earth is round...............Christopher Columbus read it, believed it and discovered a new world ... based on what he read in the Bible.................. Bible actually says it is on a sphere...............can't be flat.

I felt sad watching that..............and a little dumbfounded.

I pretty much ignore youtube as a source of anything.

Edit:
Given glitter's answer, I'm glad I didn't watch it.

I think she felt like she was on the spot and didn't want to say one way or the other.

I think it's incredibly sad that someone can be so uneducated. She should never show her face in public again.
