Glitterkittyy...I hope you have noticiced that the only bible reference I used in any of the 4 questions was in reference to Jesus' heart, not His proof. Thanks again for your answers and positive attitude.:)

When I refer to "hurt", I mean more than physical. I mean emotional, intelectual, and spiritual. Because of their POOR example of Christ, MANY have turned away or never turned to Jesus. I am reading your answers, and they are very good. I hope other Christians are also reading them. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Bruce..Thanks for the reply. I love my fellow Christians. I "Strongly Dislike", LOL, those who claim to follow Christ and treat people the way they do. The word hate is in reference to action, not person.

I substitute "Idiots" for "Brood of Vipers"
Now that is a direct quote from Jesus. :)

Well, thanks for the sentiment...but we aren't non-Christians because a Catholic school teacher beat us when we kids or anything like that. It is just the doctrine as it appears to us, not entirely independent of its adherents of course, which we deem to be illegitimate and judgmental by nature. (For instance, saying that "Jesus, for me, is the only possible answer"). Thank you, but you should keep learning as well, for fairness sake at least!

Hi, Heismanu,

I hope a Christian can add a word to this discussion.

C. S. Lewis points out that Christians are not exempt from sin. In my Catholic church, we begin each mass by confessing our sins and asking forgiveness. Being perfect as your heavenly father is perfect is not accomplished overnight, and the fact of sin does not disqualify sinners as Christians.

However, "hating" your fellow Christians as "idiots" hardly seems a Christian attitude. Jesus most certainly did not hate anyone, though he did recognize that not all who called him "Lord" were his friends.

Cheers,
Bruce

"What if all those "Christians" that hurt you were in fact not true followers of Christ?"

Who's to say if they were or they weren't? If you ask THEM, they'll say that they were true followers of Christ. So if YOU say they're not but THEY say they are, who are we supposed to believe? Why are YOU right and THEY'RE wrong?

Again, the various denominations of Christianity have so many differences in and amongst themselves that it's ridiculous for Christians to try and claim to everyone else that their way is the "only way".

"why did no longer the government (Rome, Jewish management, etc), debunk the parable whilst the data first regarded?" How do you recognize they did no longer attempt to debunk it? in the adventure that your religious delusion is the only "actual" delusion, then why are all the different "fake" religious myths nonetheless flourishing? "does no longer they have produced the physique?" some human beings say a lifeless physique grow to be resurrected and ascended into Heaven. the unquestionably physique must be everywhere. might you desire to look for it or might you have extra significant issues to do? "If data is so sparkling now, does no longer it have been much extra so then?" particular. "Miracles" are reported to happen on a similar time as we communicate. that would not advise they unquestionably happen. each each now and then "miracles" are publically debunked, each each now and then human beings do no longer concern. "Why did non-Christian historians declare the resurrection?" a lot of fake historic previous is written. as we communicate you ought to purchase "historic previous books" that declare the Holocaust in no way befell. "If Jesus followers knew it grow to be a lie, why did they take the abuse and dying?" Why have religious followers from all religions by the historic previous of religion taken abuse and dying? "that is impossible that the apostles might have continued in putting forward the truths that they had narrated, had no longer Jesus easily risen from the lifeless, and had they no longer know this actuality as unquestionably as they knew the different actuality." incorrect. religious followers from all religions by the historic previous of religion are continuously putting forward falsehoods. merely because of the fact human beings say something is actual would not make it actual.

I have not been hurt by christians. My decision to be an atheist was based upon my research and studies.

I suggest you keep on learning and perhaps look outside of the bible to do so.
