Does any one know any tips on remebering spanish

try flash card and try speaking more often with native spanish speakers.

Try listening to music in Spanish, watching television, etc.
Reading also helps, it doesn´t have to be intellectual reading, try to change the websites you visit to the spanish version, magazines, newspapers, comic books you like... It isn´t always easy to find find someone to practice your skills with, so this prevents you from losing vocabulary. Stay away from LA soap operas, there are very interesting movies out there, so don´t waste your time...

I make a chart of the words. The first column is in English, the next is in Spanish, then there should be three empty columns. You study the Spanish words, then cover them up and try to rewrite them in the first empty column. You write the correct words if you got them wrong, cover them up, and try again.

If you don't use it, you'll lose it. Use spanish with your everyday things for example if you see a door, think of the translation in español which is puerta. If you see a house say casa, etc. You'll get better at it once your more in depth.

as for the word memorising part it is very simple.

lets use the word besar (to kiss)
make a sayin to help you remeber it. "to kiss by the bay with sarlly is the most wonderful thing ever"

therefore kiss = be-sar

you will forget those sayings but those words will remain with you for a loong time.

if you need to remember if it is male or female. just remember norsel. if a noun ends in a norsel letter it is masculine. if it ends in an A it is feminne
