My reply will be pretty long but I hope you read through :) I eat a lot of rice as it is a staple here in our country (I'm Asian and I eat a lot of Chinese and Japanese dishes) and I'd like to share my thoughts :) Usually pork fried rice is good as it is (and I know that some other people eat just the fried rice). An asian coleslaw, like the fried rice has a lot of textures and tastes going on and my worry is that the dishes might clash. Something that might go well with pork fried rice would be something simpler like breaded chicken katsu or steamed/friend dimsum dumplings. If you want to "break" the salty taste, go for something sweet to go with the rice (I find that this combination is almost always great), you may want to try sweet and sour fish/pork. There are a ton of recipes for these available if you google them through but what I love best is singaporean sweet and sour fish fillet :D If you still want to push through with asian coleslaw here's something I found off the net: Low fat coleslaw, Vinaigrette-type of base: INGREDIENTS 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 large head savoy cabbage (about 2 1/2 pounds), thinly sliced and tough ribs discarded 1 bag (16 ounces) carrots, shredded 4 green onions, thinly sliced 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves PREPARATION 1. In large bowl, with wire whisk or fork, mix rice vinegar, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and salt. 2. Add cabbage, carrots, green onions, and cilantro; toss well. If not serving right away, cover and refrigerate. Or you can still use the same vegetables but lightly toss with this kind of dressing instead: Miso Sesame Dressing: * 1/2 cup white miso paste * 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon water * 1/4 cup sugar * 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar * 2 teaspoons light soy sauce * 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt * 2 tablespoons peanut oil * 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil Directions: In small bowl, whisk together the miso, water, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt. While whisking constantly, gradually add the peanut and sesame oils until you have a creamy dressing. Use now or store covered, in the refrigerator, for up to 3 days. You may also opt to coat your coleslaw with japanese mayonaise and serve it as a side dish with tonkatsu or anything even simpler :) I hope this helps :)

I don't know what OAMC is, but pork fried rice can be a main dish. Make steamed or stir fried veggies, and/or a green salad with mandarin oranges, sliced almonds and sliced scallions. Dress with a sesame viniagrette.

Sweat and sour pork chops or ham. Fry or cook the meat. Cut the bones off the pork and then chop the meat into bite size pieces. If you are using ham, just cut the meat into bite sized pieces. Put the rice over the meat. Put the sweat and sour sauce over the rice.

teriyaki glazed chicken or pork. roast chicken. sweet and sour chicken or pork. really any type of protein dish would work well. i was just trying to stay with the asian theme. just plain grilled chicken alongside some grilled pineapple slices would even work. whatever your heart desires.
