no she'll be fine. I've took my rat naruto out of the cage and sleep with him when I was sick and hes just fine, it hard to get a rat sick the carry more illnesses than they can get. if the world was bombed (goddess pray it don't) but if it was the rats would live thought it.

im not really sure bout it, but i guess its ok , and it wont catch ur cold ,since most sicknesses rnt shared between animals and humans and they have different diseases and flues even . my rodents dont get sick if i catch a cold ,so i asume that ur rat will be fine, but still ask a vet and make sure ,cuz every pet is different than the other.
also when i get sick i dont get my face close to theirs ,or play with them in a way that could make them catch it , better to be safe than sorry . its ok to lay with her in bed and all but for safety even though she wont catch it just dont get too close .
good luck and hope u get better soon :)

I have five diseases, and no immune system, so I constantly have colds. I also have pet rats, who have never ever caught anything from me. Rats catch rat specific infections, and we cannot infect them with our own bugs-.
If you are really concerned about your rat contracting something from you- wear a face mask while you handle your rats, and wash your hands before and after handling your pet.

As far as I know, the only thing a rat can catch from you is pneumonia (specifically Streptococcus Pneumoniae), which can be fatal to them. If it's just a cold, go ahead and let your rattie lay with you. =)
