It depends. If the supervisor is a working foreman who is on an hourly wage and under a union job classification and subject to the provisions of the contract yes. If the supervisor is on salary and not subject to union rules in his daily activities than no.

Depends on the business' definition of a supervisor. Where I work, employees who worked there a long time can choose to supervize while still doing their job. So they are not considered a part of management.

I'm pretty sure there is no Management union out there. I don't believe you can be a manager and be in a union. Hope that helps.
