Why do people mind that families are migrating to have better lives?? I was just wondering. I'm not taking sides♥

We have nothing against LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. We welcome over one million per year with open arms.
We are sick and tired of ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Big difference between two very different classes of people.

There's nothing wrong with families coming to the United States using the legal process. Everybody here came from immigrants at one point in this nation's history, so I don't think anyone has a problem with the government allowing the million plus people into its system every year. The problem is illegal immigrants slipping through the borders and avoiding the legal process. It is a disgrace to all citizens who applied through the legal process and waited patiently like everyone else for the same benefits that illegal immigrants are stealing from legal tax payers at no cost. It's a disgrace to those who were born citizens because their distant relatives went through the same legal system so that their families would have the freedoms and opportunities this country has to offer. It's a disgrace to the immigrant who would abandon their own country and then illegally enter the US to wave their country's flag in this country. If your country is so great and you have so much pride, then why did you leave to begin with? If you loved your country you would stay to make it a better place and invest in its future.

We wouldn't mind if it didn't mean worse lives for Americans. But it does - we do not have the resources to care for the over-populated third world. And quite a few are migrating for free social services, to commit crimes, and to blow up Americans in the name of allah. Until someone is able to tell the difference we stay in danger.

Because if we allowed in everyone who wanted to come our population would double overnight. Also you would be out of a job because immigrant persons will work for less. Additionally states would not be able to pay for education, or social services.

I personally don't mind as long as they go through the proper channels and learn English. I for example would never sneak into France and not learn French.
I think immigration is what makes America great. We have the best and the brightest from every country on Earth calling America home.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a better life for yourself.. But at least respect the nation you're moving to and take the legal route.

I don't think anyone at all minds immigrants coming to the US! We just ask that they do it legally. There is a process in place, and it can be followed. People do it the right, legal way every day.
I work with people from 22 different countries who all came here legally and are able to work legally. They are wonderful people, and my life is richer for knowing them.

I do not think you will find many Americans against any one coming to our country. All we ask is to follow the laws that we have in order to be here legally. For those who think they can come here regardless of our laws are never welcome and should be deported when caught. We are a nation of immigrants. Most of all we are a nation of laws. Follow them to come here and be welcomed or don't bother coming here at all.

its fine if immigrants go through the proper channels to get here....but the problem is with immigrants who dont take the proper procedures and are here illegal...ahhhhhhh
