Hi,
As always, it is supply & demand.
At the moment need of raw copper slightly exceeds the supply, so the price on the world market is on the up.
I do have a modest interest in the copper market, and it is on the up according to increased demand.
God alone knows where the actual copper is.
A big fall in copper prices is most unlickely, either short or long term.

Conversely, and weirdly the coffee market is much better.
Swap copper for coffee? worth a try !

I dont know if we'll ever see long term copper prices going down. Lately they'll go down for a bit, the shoot right back up more than what they were.
It would be very nice if they would go down and stay for awhile. I cant tell you how incidents we have with people breaking in places and stripping the wire, so that they can resale it
