You should check with the preacher or priest. My husband's priest said that he would not marry us at the local park because the site could not be blissed first. We ended up having to hire a preacher to do the ceremony.

Yes. A preacher can marry you on the beach. If you're part of a big organized religion, you may need to find a smaller or independent church.
whatever the marriage license requirements in your county are (if it's 72 hours then you're golden) need to be met.

If you are able to find a priest to marry you. Most priests will not marry someone who is not a member of their church or if you live with your partner before marriage. There are some that will marry you if you take marriage counseling through their church. I had the same problem but it justs depends on how bad you want it. It's possible but you have to make a lot of phone calls. I ended up using the county clerk's office who sent a person to my ceremony and none of the guests even noticed the difference.

Yes you can, but you need to communicate with the priest or preacher of your choice and make an actual appointment...you may even have to pay for their time, but I know it can be done as I have done it...I was married on the beach in Daytona by a local Baptist preacher.

You can legally get married anywhere, but the Catholic Church does not permit its member to marry anywhere other than inside the church. If you aren't Catholic, you're fine. We're marrying on the beach by a minister, but that is not the same thing as a priest...Catholic priests cannot perform outdoor weddings.

Yes you can.
There are priests who will marry you on the beach.
If you are having it at the Outer Banks of NC check out the Officiants at http://www.outerbanksweddingassoc.org
Check the laws in the county you are getting married in regarding when to get the marriage license.

Yes, as long as it's by someone licensed to marry people. Make sure to check his credentials. My sister didn't and it was about 7 months after they had there wedding did they found out they really weren't married and had to go to the court house and get OFFICIALLY married by the justice of the peace.

My husband and I got married on a golf course, and our preacher did it. we had a traditional baptist wedding. but I'm not too sure about the marriage license, in Louisiana (where I'm from) you had to file it like within 30 days of the wedding. then the pastor files it at the court house, and you get the "official" on like a month later.
hope it helps! good luck!

You are going to be hard pressed to get a preacher to marry you with only 72 hours notice.
And a priest of the catholic persuasion will not marry you outside the church.

Depends upon the denomination. For a wedding with a Catholic priest, it must be in a church. Check with your local minister/pastor/preacher.
