Yes that is very true. A lot of guys won't bother with a too beautiful girl because they know she would never like him anyway.

No, it's not true for all guys.
If the beautiful girl has a pleasant personality and seems approachable, then a guy will try to get to know her better.
It's only the snobby girls who think they're all that and a bag of chips who repel guys.

Im not sure if it is totally true. Many times beautiful girls are constantly hit on and because of this, they carry themselves as if they are unapproachable.
A lot has to do with body language.

Do you mean be afraid to get to closer to her?? If you do, I can say yes and no. I do not think it has anything to do with getting close to her. I think it has a lot more to do with, getting to know her. Guys sometimes are shy and feel like they are not good enough to get to know this good looking girl.

it's true for the non-confident guys, just as it is true for non-confident girls to not be able to get close to an attractive guy.
