I believe they should come back. Support the troops! Bush is being stupid and fighting people. He should get some serious therapy! Wish the troops could come back, and there would be extreme peace.

As a soldier I believe that we are fighting a war we cant win. We should have never gone over to start with, but the longer it goes on the more I believe we should stay, because if we pull out now all the lives lost already were lost for nothing. If you have any belief of a higher being this verse from the Koran may open your eyes a bit.

Koran ( 9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands
of
Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more
rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and
there
was peace.

(Notice the verse number) I would have loved to see him pull us out when he first said we won, but he didn't, and now were stuck there. Now were just trying to change what the people of Iraq belive, and I belive it will never happen. So I guess I would agree with pulling the troops out to prevent anymore loss of life.

What I feel is not important. What I think is this. We have engaged Al-Qeeda and other terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. We took the war they have been waging on us for decades to them. Since that day, there have been no successful terrorist attacks in the United States. This is during President GW Bush's watch. We must give him credit.

This enemy will not go away, will not settle for less than global domination. They have told us their intent, they have showed us they mean business. We are very limited in our remaining choices.

I do not see how leaving the battlefield now will help us or hinder the efforts of the enemy. On the other hand, if we withdraw and Iraq either becomes unstable or falls completely to the terrorists, I can see no way that that would benefit us and I can see many ways it would damage us.

So if I say what I feel, I would want every American to come home and be safe. But in my mind, I know that is not possible if we wish to live free.

Well, he's probably not going to "keep sending more troops to Iraq", since things have begun to stabilize on a military level (although not on a political level). In fact, if you've been watching the news lately, you'd know that they're probably going to begin a withdrawal of a few troops next Spring or Summer. Militarily, we've probably already acheived all we ever will in Iraq, now they need to focus on the political issues over there.

I don't know about more, but do believe we should still keep troops there, we have made a lot of success that that the media dose not show or emphasize on, like our progression in establishing an Iraq army and government

As my nephew who fought in Iraq suggested. " we are helping a united states hit upon a democracy, and that i'm hoping to help in making this united states a greater effective place." definite, many good human beings have died in Iraq. we choose victory in Iraq so as that our provider human beings won't have died in ineffective. i'm hoping the troop surge makes the adaptation. i'm going to diminish back this attempt because of the fact the President has set down a time line for the Iraqi human beings.

The Bush family has a problem about pulling out of anything. If Daddy Bush had pulled out of Mommy Bush....there wouldn't have been a George W.
Get the troops home NOW. Think about our own revolution, so long ago...with farmers leaving their fields to fight, freezing at Vally Forge, etc....for something called independence. I haven't seen the Iraqis make a fraction of that effort for themselves.

send them back slowly but surely now, the ones that got extended cut it short. the asshole who said we deserve what we get obviously know nothing of being military, we might not agree with what we are doing but it is a job, a contract we cannot break. More than half of the people there dont want to be there at all..idiot you think being away from loved ones, getting shot at is better than being home... this was never our war, we have so many things to fix here, why help fix other nations first?!

Bring home our troops and send W and Dick in their place. Once again for the kids in the back, Iraq had nothing to do with 911, those terrorist were never in Iraq until we invaded
