I have thicker and rougher stubble and it's really hard for me to shave it completely off. Especially on my neck below my chin. I've used gilette razors and shaving cream but they still don't work that good. Also, I have sensitive skin so I bleed a lot. Any ideas?

Sometimes thicker skin is obnoxious!
I suggest this.
Invest in 2 products.
A good shave gel, and an exfoliator.
A simple exfoliator- go to Target, and invest in a fruit acid scrub- like Booth's Green Apple Micro Dermabrasion Scrub. The Acid will loosen up the dead skin while the scrub will roll of the dead skin--- it will make shaving SO much easier!

For the actual shave: Bliss makes a Shave Gel that actually HEATS up upon contact to loosen the hairs and makes the skin soften up so it feels like a HOT TOWEL on your skin.
It has Aloe so it is really hydrating and soothing. Its only $18- worth it!

Good luck!

Shaving gels sometimes work better than shaving lotions. Neutrogena has a good ones. Neutrogena also carries a line called Razor Defense and has a shaving gel and other products that are designed to prevent razor burn and for sensitive skin. You can check them both out at neutrogena.com. Gillette Fusion and Shick Titanium are good razors to use. You can also try using witch hazel or a shaving balm after shaving to soothe any irritation.

Try using Edge Advanced shaving cream for tough beards. Relative to other shaving creams I've used, the Edge Advanced for tough beards makes it seem like the hair is being wiped away. It's still a little tough shaving in certain spots, but it's many times easier using the Edge for tough beards. Another thing I started doing, which seems to help, is pouring a couple drops of Vitamin E oil on the razor before I begin shaving.

Are you going up with the razor as well as down? You will get a much cleaner shave. I learned that in the military where you had to have a close shave especially in basic training.

Get a moisturizer, this will soften the hair making it allot easier to shave and it will help with the sensitive skin. Try Nivea for men facial cream. I use just regular Nivea lotion on my legs and it makes a huge difference on them when I shave.
