"Written out and re-written by men"
So, uh, what are we suppose to do with the over 2,300 copies of the New Testament books from before the time of the first church council? All of which are word for word indentical with the text used today for Bible translations?
Over the over 83,000 other manuscripts from the earliest years of the Christian faith which quote and confirm every single line of the New Testament?
Sorry, but when you look at the historical evidence, the Bible has NOT been re-written or changed by anyone. There are simple too many manuscripts to support that it has remained unchanged since it was originally written.
Has church leadership and tradition had some bad ideas about women, sexuality, etc over the centuries? Yes. And for nearly a thousand years the New Testament was almost unavailabe to people because of the scarity of copies (no printing presses, etc) and it being preserved in a no longer used language (Latin). So all kinds of strange ideas developed.
But thank God that he preserved thousands of copies of the original text (many through the enemies of the church) so that they would be rediscovered once they could be translated and distributed, so that people could know what God really had to say about women - and everything else.
So while there may have been failed attempts to limit women within the church, they have NEVER been written out of the Bible. Everything the original New Testament writers had to say in support of them is still here.

Christianity can't "keep you down" unless you let it. Any woman who wants to be non-virginal before she is married is perfectly free to do so (as MANY of them do). What "Mary Magdaline" was or wasn't has no effect on anybody who wants to truly think for for herself. And how are women "written out" of the bible? Eve was featured just as prominently as Adam. Mary was a key biblical feature. But knowing that the bible is nothing more than man-made fiction, why should the characters in it effect anyone? If you believe otherwise, then you will just have to accept the bible as the "word of god", and concede that "god" is infallable. Therefore the "elimination of all female aspects of god" (as you put it) is correct. Take your choice.

1) "We all know that the bible was re-written by man, for men, to protect men- by eliminating all female aspects of the god."
Source of this amazing statement, please. What is your evidence?
2) "Do you know why they made Mary Magdaline into a dirty whore?"
This shows that you have not read the bible, as Mary Magdalene became a Christian and, therefore, no longer a whore, dirty or otherwise.
3) "Do you know why they insisted females be virgins before marriage?"
Actually, there is no insistence of this in the bible except for the Levites. Only they were restricted to virgins, except, perhaps, in the case where a Levites brother died without sons. In such a case, I believe that the brother was expected to marry the widow, even though she clearly was not a virgin. All other Jews were certainly permitted to marry non-virgins, and in some cases (such as the one above) expected to do so.
"I am furious that men have "kept us down" by use of christianity!"
Some women claim that following the tenets of Christianity lifts them up. Surely, you do not deny them their faith?
"bottom line is, jesus inteded the bible to include women as equals, and man re-wrote it."
Source of this amazing statement, please. What is your evidence?
"Don't tell me you don't know this?"
Not only do I not know this, I know for a fact that there is no evidence for this. Don't tell me you thought I wouldn't realize that you made this up?
Of course, I'm always willing to admit I'm wrong, assuming you can produce well-founded evidence.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but no I don't feel put down. As a christian I know that Mary Madeline was not a whore and never was, that is a lie. Christians of the first century gave women positions of authority, it was the Romans that took it away when they took over the whole thing. Females should be virgins and so should men at marriage because we owe that to our future mates, so we share something with them that no one else has, it is the ultimate of intimacy. There are many women in the bible and they all played important roles in God's plan dispute the facts of their lives.

You cannot be any further from the truth. It took Christ to set women free. A woman set at the foot of Jesus and washed His feet and dryed them with her hair and Jesus raised her up and defended her among men who told Him to make her go away. He told these men that those who have been forgiven much, love much. A woman poured a vial of perfume on Jesus before He went to the cross the next day and a disciple fussed at her for not selling the perfume and giving the money to the poor and Jesus said, this woman for what she did would be remembered forever. A Gentile woman came begging Jesus for help and Jesus said He was sent to the House of Israel, but because of her faith He healed her son. A woman at the well who had 5 husbands listened patiently to Christ talking about "living water" which is the Holy Spirit who believed in Him and went telling all that she knew about a man who had told her past and she had just met Him. Every where Jesus went women were freed from bondage.
Men use religion to keep women down. Christ never wanted this. These are men's sayings and not sayings of Christ.
My dear sister, less than 100 years ago you couldn't vote because of men. Christianity and God had nothing to do with it. Men twist to their advantage because they are physically stronger. Esther saved the whole nation of Israel. Deborah the Judge of Israel saved Israel. Rahab saved her family and helped Israel defeat their enemy.
You haven't read the Bible. There are many prominent women in the Word of God. Women were so liberated that even Apostle Paul had to ask them to be quiet in church and ask their husbands when they got home.
Do you not remember the story of the woman who disguised herself as a harlot so her father-in-law would have sex with her so she could have a child. Her husband died and the law was that her husband's brother would give her a child and her father-in-law kept putting her off so when she had sex with him she kept his ring and when she showed the ring to the father-in-law he knew that he had done wrong in not letting his son father a child to her. This sounds horrible to us but it was the law back then. A woman without a child was shameful back then. Childless women had flaws in those days.

The Bible doesn't say Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.
Where on earth are you getting this "the Bible was re-written to protect men" stuff from? The cultures in which the Bible were originally written were misogynistic enough, it didn't need to be re-written.
I guess I'm asking for some valid historical sources for this claim you make. Until then, it just kind of sounds like you're making it up as you go along.

If that is what your church teaches, than honey find another one fast!!! When the word "man" is used in scripture it is often referring to mankind- men, women & children. Mary was a whore and Jesus indicated that those that visited with her were men whores. Sexual activity outside of the bond of marriage is sin regardless of whether it is a man or woman. It is the same sin for both.
What bothers me most is that some men have perverted the scriptures and taken advantage of it by usurping abusive authority over women. What we as women need to do is stand our ground and know who we are in Christ. We do not have to succumb to an abusive man but our submission is to God who does not abuse. Women are guilty because they endure, allow and submit to abuse. RISE UP and be strong.

Wow. You really missed all the parts you should have read.
Aren't you aware that Christianity equalized the man and the woman? The only difference is that of roles.
Have you missed all the names of the women that God used?
Even Paul asked a woman to hand deliver the Letter to the Romans, which was obviously a very important task.
I suspect you haven't really read very much of it.
As for Mary Magdalene, no where in the Bible does it say she was a whore.
It isn't just women that should be virgins before marriage.
Culture isn't to be read into scripture, but we read scripture to see how to live.

Rediculous. Christian women know that the Trinity respects the feminine aspect of the God-head is the most influential - the Holy Spirit.
Christian women know that God chose a holy woman as the manner for the Messiah.
Christian women know that behind every successful christian minister is a Godly woman, whether it be his mother or his wife - and his ministry was created by her influence.
Every male minister will tell you this.

Wow you seem angry, don't let anything get you down like this. It's not a priveledge to be able to have sex before marriage, it's a sign of weakness, not a sign of strength - I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR, NO! It's not a priveledge to have to have the responsibility of our fellow man, by nature we are caregivers and we were made that way for a purpose and women are in the bible, some pretty fantastic women at that!
It's all in the way you look at it I guess. I embrace my Christianity and my womanhood at the same time.
Furthermore Mary Magdelon being a whore is pretty harsh and was used to reflect the forgiveness that Jesus bestowed upon her.... just as David was a womanizer and a jiggilo by today's standards.... ie: no one is perfect man or woman
