I'm going to talladega in October for the first time and I want to know what the seats will be like. We have seats in the Tri-Oval Tower row 50. Are they plain bleachers without a back? Will I need binoculars?

I go to Talledega every year and ALWAYS take binoculars, it is a 2.66 mile track so to see everything you will need them. As far as the seating is concerned take a cushion with you, 4 or more hours on those hard seats hurts.

If memory serves, you are at the top, so you will have some place to lean but you will need binoculars to pick out the detail. You will still be able to see all the way around the track. I went in the spring and was on row 43 and could see everything but it was fuzzy. Have fun!!

I live 13 miles from the track.Have been to every race since it started in 1969.Seats are like lunchroom,metal back chairs with no legs,that just sit on concrete.you can buy your favorite drivers seat cushion at the track.And,yes,take the 'binos,you will need them.But I promise,you cannot see all the way around the track.(motorhomes in the infield block the backstretch)

well have fun yes you'll need binoculars it's a 21/2 mile track well at least your in the 50th row you'll more than some. Have a good time go 48 go

Take the Binoculars, but the seats are fine, didn't hurt my butt.

bring your binoculars sweetie.......the bleachers hurt your tush and if you do decide to get up and move around u may miss a wreck or two...that always happens to me.....u have great seats though....have fun!

SEATS ARE SMALL AND UNCOMFORTABLE BUT YOU WON'T NEED THEM ANYWAYS, UNLESS YOU GET HIT IN THE HEAD WITH A BEER CAN THEN YOU WONT NOTICE BECAUSE YOU LL BE UNCONSCIOUS!!
