You should have said you're not working there for less than what was agreed upon at the earlier date. Don't let people walk all over you. Stand up, brush yourself off, and fight for what they told you in the beginning!

If you didn't feel what they are offering is enough, why did you agree to it?

If you had told them then that you wouldn't take it for less than what was originally discussed, then yes they probably would have just not hired you.

It's your choice. But if you aren't willing to do that job for what they're offerring, then you need to let them know that as soon as possible. If you tell them now that you won't take it for what they're offering, they'll almost surely take that as turning down the job.

It depends on your situation; beggers can't be choosers, so if you need the Job to meet your basic needs, food, shelter etc. than you don't have much choice.

that's because the temp agency takes a percentage of everyone of Ur pay checks, so they probably forgot to subtract that before they gave u the first rate. But u can be blunt tell them to find u something else that will pay u what u are looking for tell them that that's not enough for u to pay Ur bills.
