First of all, I could care less if you don't like tarot, believe what you want, but don't answer this question if you're only going to preach at me for asking about them.
What type of cards to you use?
When did you first start using them?
Did you find them helpful?
What does tarot mean to you?
Do you read the cards for other people? Do they find them insightful?
Have you ever had a reading with negative feedback? What was the outcome?

What type of cards to you use?
I have some oracle cards but I usually use Tarot cards.

When did you first start using them?
Bought my first deck 16 years ago. I lost track of them and forgot about Tarot until 2 or 3 years ago.

Did you find them helpful?
Yes. They help me look at possibilities and see things from different angles.

What does tarot mean to you?
Tarot is part of my spiritual journey. I use them to reflect, focus, and think about life. I don't use them to predict but as a tool to better understand myself and the world around me.

Do you read the cards for other people? Do they find them insightful?
Just my husband. He finds them very interesting.

Have you ever had a reading with negative feedback? What was the outcome?
Yes.
For one personal situation the cards reflected truths that I didn't want to face.

What type of cards to you use?
I have several different decks. I had just one for a long time, but found another in the oddest of places, then discovered that there are all sorts of different decks in the world. I slowly started to collect more. I have over 20 but only use about 5 of them 'regularly'.

When did you first start using them?
It was in 1991 or 2, not sure exactly, but right around that time.

Did you find them helpful?
Not exactly right away. It took getting used to them and all. It was a learning process to understand how they expressed information.

What does tarot mean to you?
Even after all these years of using the cards, they still amaze me and I amaze myself in the things I can see with them. To me they are a tool, they give reassurance when I am not sure about something, they help direct me when I can't decide or wonder about whether or not something or someone should get my attention and energy. They have kept me from wasting my time and one time they helped me to find the best time to quit my job.

Do you read the cards for other people? Do they find them insightful?
Yes and Yes, most people who ask for a reading appreciate an alternate point of view.

Have you ever had a reading with negative feedback?
I'm not sure I understand the question, negative feedback from a reading I did for myself, or for someone else. I have had readings that told of 'bad' things. I have done readings for others and once in a while I don't 'connect' with the sitter.

What was the outcome?
My most recent reading for another person where I did not read well, the sitter said that the reading was beautiful, and there where somethings that where food for thought, but the overall reading did not fit their situation.

I've been using the Tarot for quite a few years now. I started with Runes, but found the Tarot to hold more insight. They do give me good advice about my life. I try not to be fixated with 'outcome' with them, and that makes all the difference.

I have used the New Palladini deck, and am now using the Gendron Tarot.

I usually read for myself, but once in awhile I'll read for a friend or my sister. It's always informal, and I don't charge.

I have had readings that showed an undesired outcome. A good reader will be able to give advice and ideas for how to deal with it, or circumvent it, if possible.

This is more a "life" thing than a Tarot thing, but I've learned that you just have to accept unsatisfactory resolutions to situations when they happen - then move on to the next thing. So when I do get a "bad" outcome, it's not such a big deal. Things generally work out for the best.

Hi, I have studied the Tarot since I was 13 years old,so I guess I have been using them for like 15 yrs now. Well anyway to answer your questions I use the Hanson-Roberts deck. I find them very helpful, and others seek me out for readings all the time. In fact my 10 yr. reunion is coming up and I am getting a lot of old classmates asking me to bring my cards for readings. I sometimes do readings for myself but I prefer to go to someone else for my own readings. I always tell people before I read their cards to take the information with a grain of salt, most negative info given in my readings doesn't result in anyone being mad at me. We try to find a solution. I am not sure what tarot means to me, I guess its just a way for me to express something I know, but am not sure how to tell people, so I use the cards as a way to let people know what they need to know. I hope my answers helped.

Belief does not change the truth or facts. Tarot and all divination is a scam. In terms of reading them for insights about yourself, you'd be better looking to real means of doing that.

Sorry, you can believe what you like but realize that you're just pretending that it's true.
