Don't make assumptions about people by the way they dress.
Maybe she thinks if she acts like she's offended people will think better of her. OR maybe she really is offended.

Why are you using profanity in the first place? If every second word is f this or f that then almost anyone would cringe. A true gentleman who has a good grasp of language and literature doesn't need to use profanity.
Don't worry about what she's wearing, just worry about yourself. It will get you much farther in life if you concentrate on cultivating manners and etiquette than putting the blame on others.

A lot of girls may present themselves that way for two reasons and neither is because they are bad people: Reason 1 and the most common reason is, When girls were sexually abused as young children and they grow up they have the thought in their mind that they did something wrong and subconsciously they conflict pain onto themselves by ruining their appearance or reputation. Reason 2, The girl wants attention and she feels as if dressing and acting a certain way will get her the attention she needs. Good luck.

I am often offended when others use profanity, but I also don't say too much about it. I feel that it's hard to indicate you're offended without also being rude. I would think that her cringe would be enough.

Who knows. I know girls who dress like common street trash and act all prudish....drives me nuts. We're not supposed to judge people on their outward appearences, but we do...and so does the rest of society. If you dress like a slut, people will think you're a slut, and will behave toward you accordingly. If you dress like a librarian, people will speak to you as though you are a librarian. It's the way of the world. But, seeing as you know that your use of profanity bothers her, I would watch my mouth around her from now on...it's common courtesy.

Why are you asking the SAME question 2 days in a row? YA highly discourages this, you know! You could be reported... fair warning!
Have a polite day!

Unfortunately, it is the style to dress and act slutty these days, it doesn't mean that she is a slut.

She's what we call a fake person, she's just pretending and still trying to find herself.
