The truth is we misuse all that He has given us power over.So truth be told we are punishing ourselves not HIm. We are only reaping what we have sewn.

God said if we were whom we say we are we would take good care of our animals. But can we prevent it? There is more cruelty to children and woman than a animal. People see it and close their eyes. God says we are worth more than many sparrows. Some people but their animals before their kin. What is and Idol? God does not mess up human lives. We do enough of that on our own. Yes just like Adam blamed Eve we blame God. The world is full of cruelty and that is the ways of man. God is the only one that can change the mind and heart of man. Psalms 33. God made our hearts. And a man is not saved by what he thinks he has the power to do.
Some accuse Christians of converting others. We say that is not true.Simply because we can only tell the story. God calls and he renews and changes. God directs our steps and so no one will be without excuse in the day of judgment. So we love God and we or not offended by any actions for just like you, we were also like others stiffnecked creatures walking in the dark.Wanting our own way. Asking God to bless are ugly lifestyles. And angry at him because he does not bless no mess. We all have sinned so if there is any stone throwing we are hitting yourselves. Prayer is the only thing that can prevent it. God says run for your lives. So we do right into our rooms to pray. God not my will but thine be done.

No God does not mess up human life. God created Adam and Eve perfect. It was only after Satan introduced sin into the world that mans life has gone to hell in a hand basket.

God does not mess up humans lives, They mess up their own lives by the choices they make and rejecting his help.
I think animal cruelty is a horrible and cowardly crime!
I agree with you that not enough people are doing anything about it. :o)

It's quite possible.. although humans tend to mess up their own lives quite successfully and without any help..
whatever it may be; every action has a consequence, whether it's received immediately or much later on, whether it's received directly or indirectly, you may call it karma, you may say it's from God, there's no denying and no avoiding the consequences of our actions...
personally, i think God simply shows us the results of our own folly.. it brings home the point that much of the mess really is our own fault..

No, people mess up their own lives in doing abusive things to the creatures of the earth and the same is true for those who don't stand up against it. The consequences are certain - the act is ours, the consequences are God's.

Nope, God causes the people who have been cruel to animals to be reborn as the very animals they were cruel to. he causes the animals that were abused to be reborn as humans to be cruel to the animals that used to be human. It binds not only the cruel humans but also the animal victims.
I don't like the imaginary dividing line between human and animal. I think we are all Beings, and equally cherished by Life.

Interesting cause and effect question. But I think we are responsible for messing up our own lives and we mistreat animals because we can, the reason why we do most things that we shouldn't do.

I kind of doubt it. After all, how many animals did "god" "abuse" when he killed every single one of them except those that Noah had on his boat? I am sure that "god" is not a hypocrite. If that's true, then I am sure "he" thinks it's perfectly OK to abuse animals.

I don't want to look at your link I am sure it's ghastly.
God gave us animals to eat and told us which ones.
Cruelty in any form to any living thing is a sin. It will be dealt with like all sin.
do you know how that works?

Interesting question that I think could emcompass many different religions or beliefs. This could be an example of Karma during this life. The Bible does say "you reap what you sow".
