LOL I agree with some of the other posts...Dawn dish soap will cut the grease so that it will wash out of their hair. It is the gentlest you can find on their skin..be sure to use a conditioner on their hair afterwards. Also it may be easier to work it through the hair if you mix a glass of water/dish soap mix so that it's watered down then you won't be spending hours to wash the soap out!

Well well well ....another fine mess you've gotten into! I'm sorry to hear about your current situation and I wish I could offer more then moral support. If the cleansers don't work as mentioned by others, as a last ditch effort I might try good old fashioned vinegar. If none of those works.... there are worse things then buzz cuts.
Bright idea ... I called the Johnson and Johnson help line from the Desitin web site and I was told that soap and water or maybe a non-medicated baby wipe would be the recommended solution.
I hope that helps! Good luck!

Oh man, that stuff is like white axle grease! (I got it on clothing once, and it was ruined). I'd give up, it will eventually come off with regular washing, but it will take a while. Alternatively, you might consider giving the 2 1/2 year old a crew cut.

You are having a lot of fun aren't you? While it won't help with getting it out of her clothes you can sprinkle baby powder (I never tried cornstarch based baby powder - just talcum) in her hair and comb it through and then wash her hair like you would regularly. This helped with Vaseline and Desitin. (Got two climbers).
My favorite is when they get in the Vaseline and spread it on their clothes and hair and the floor and the.....
