Jesus died for our sins he wasnt a sinner so hell really is just the grave and everyone will go there and wait for Jesus to return and render justice on all

I believe that you are supposed to be in stasis til Judgment Day, yes. Try telling that to them.

There is no hell or heaven when you die. And if there was a hell, I would rather go there since all the pornstars, movie stars, rocks stars etc are gonna be there. Who is going to be in heaven? Nuns, Christians and all your dead relatives. And you have to hang around with them, praising god all the time. I could do that for a couple of days but I think I'd get really bored in a month. Can you imagine doing this for 100,000,000,000,000 years? How about forever!!!

Before Jesus got here those who had gave up the ghost have been asleep. Waiting for judgment day. Joh eleven:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall upward thrust once more. Joh eleven:24 Martha saith unto him, I recognise that he shall upward thrust once more within the resurrection on the final day. The final day was once coming of their new release. Mat 23:one million Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Mat 23:two Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees take a seat in Moses' seat: ++Jesus spoke approximately many judgments coming++ Mat 23:35 That upon you may also come the entire righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew among the temple and the altar. Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All those matters shall stumble upon this new release. After the judgment, which got here in AD 70, simply as Jesus had stated. Those which have been born once more input into his kingdom at the same time nonetheless right here on the earth. So after they go away they'll pass instantly to heaven.

Well I think that people do immediately go on to Hades or Paradise to be specific, after death.
Jesus said to the man on the cross 'today you will be with me in paradise'
In Revelation we read that Hades will be cast into the lake of Fire, until then no flames as of yet.
'Asleep' is just a term ( a euphemism) for Dead. Paul said 'absent from the body is present with the Lord'
But don't quote me on all of this, but this is what I believe at the moment until I study the relevant bible passages further...

From my understanding of the Bible, there is no such thing as "soul sleep". When you die, you immediately go to one location or the other.

Examples:

When the thief on the cross asked Jesus to remember him, Jesus said, "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43.

Also, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8.

When the rich man died in the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31), we read: "the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments...".

These examples show people immediately going to their eternal destiny upon death.

Unfortunateoly Heaven and Hell are a myth made by man to comfort himself from the fear of the totality of death.
Although if you belive in that kind of thing- I think you die, your soul rises & you meet St Peter at some white gates and he looks your name up in a book.
Or you may have to wait in Purgatory for a bit till they work out whether you'r nice enough to get into Heaven or whether you're going to Hell.
Good News- Allah says Hell is full of women- also Hitler, Saddam, Stalin, Mao, Ronny Reagan etc and all the interesting people are down there- so I know where I want to be going. Toodles, down I go. Mmm smells like Barbecue....

the theory of soul sleep has no Biblical foundation. depending on whether you have accepted Jesus as lord and savior at death you either go to heaven to await the resurrection or to hell for eternal punishment.

We'll never know until we actually die. And of course We'll never know anyways, since the dead can't talk.
